High-Pressure Bypass Control Valve

The high-pressure bypass control valve is a special-structured high-differential-pressure control valve. This control valve combines the functions of a start-up control valve, a pressure-reduction bypass valve, and a safety valve. It can achieve rapid automatic overpressure tracking and pressure protection, eliminating the need for a boiler safety valve.

This valve can achieve rapid start-up within 6 seconds. The control system of the electric actuator adjusts the steam pressure to adapt to the parameter transmission and operation of the unit under different working conditions. After the unit experiences a load rejection, the boiler does not need to be immediately shut down. After the fault is eliminated, it can be restarted within a few minutes, reducing the number of boiler start-ups and shutdowns and minimizing thermal shock to the steam turbine. The rapid interlock of the attemperating water adjustment and the high-pressure bypass can significantly reduce temperature and pressure, reducing the large attemperating and pressure-reducing system and equipment in the power plant. Therefore, this valve is one of the important control valves in the bypass system of large-capacity once-through unit thermal power units.
